I wonder how long it'll be before we see another mysterious "DDOS attack". Or maybe they'll dirty Darl up a bit and claim he was mugged by a pack of commie Linux hippies. My money's on the second strategy. They've already laid the groundwork for it with the whole bodyguards business. That was step one. Step two, stage a mugging at a convenient time, to distract from negative news in the IBM case. This shouldn't be hard. Just get one of those neato axe-through-the-head thingys at a local costume shop, and squirt some ketchup around to make it look gory. Write "Linux Was Here" in big letters at the crime scene, so it's absolutely clear who's supposed to have done this. Step three, Darl, Kevin, & co. fake their own deaths ...

After extensive research on my own part and reviewing the considered opinions of those in the field of IP litigation I have concluded to my own satisfaction that your position consists of bullpuckey." (IMHO the correct term is "bullsco", however.) It occurs to me that SCO's entire strategy is based on the idea that nobody outside their company is familiar with the concept of "bluffing" and won't see it for what it is.
